i recently stumbled across this editorial, she was once mine. it was inspired by pin up girls of the 1950’s and was shot in the liguria region of italy. besides the fact that i would love to go on a vacation to such a beautiful place and experience some real summer heat, i love the modern take on the classic style. and i just can’t get enough of those amazing hairstyles! i feel like this whole photo shoot would be great with some of those beautiful zelda sweetwater swimsuits. in my dreams!

The editorial is beautiful indeed. But I kind of miss the slightly less amazonian, more fleshy aesthetic of the real pin-up girls, don't you think?

I totally agree with what Emily said! It's a breathtaking editorial, but it would have been nice to have a girl with at least a little curves.
She's supposed to be representing pin ups and she looks like she barely has hips in some photos.
If only my feminism and fashion could co-exist together!
hm. i had not even noticed the size of the model. i was mostly just loving the swimsuits, styling, and crazy amazing hairstyles! but it has been duly noted.
