what i’ve been up to lately

besides writing calivintage, i’m sure some of you know that i also have a few other little things i do around the internet. so today i thought i might share some of the projects i’ve taken on recently… most notably, i’m excited to have started a brand new blog: bikes + babes featuring (you guessed it) bikes and babes. it’s still a little baby at the moment, but i’ve been having fun filling up the queue with all of the pretty pictures i find and hope that it will provide good bike and outfit inspiration for these wonderful summer months ahead of us. you can also submit your own images to add to the feed!

over at modcloth (where i work as a blog writer), i also recently did a post about how to style a graphic t-shirt three different ways. i think this may have been my first little attempt at dressing someone up other than myself and i am excited to try it again soon!

and i was especially excited to have recently gotten in touch with miss moss to create these beautiful outfits inspired by some of her favorite fine art. this one is my favorite, but you should definitely click-through to see the rest!

and as always, you can find the rest of my work on the modcloth blog, the modcloth tumblr, and the calivintage tumblr, or you can keep up with me on twitter or facebook or both! ;)

  4. You’re so busy! I can’t wait to get my bicycle, I’ve been meaning to get one for 2 years. I have a friend who buys old bikes off Craigslist, fixes them up, and then sells them. He’s looking out for a bike for me, and I can’t wait to be riding again. Although the last time I had a bicycle is when I lived in Chicago, and it’s WAY flatter… so SF on a bike will be an adventure ;)
