today i am excited to share a little collaboration i did with senso shoes and solestruck! i have long been a fan of solestruck and have admittedly wasted a few hours here and there browsing through their epic selection of shoes, so i was absolutely delighted to style up an outfit around this excellent pair of witchy oxford heels. so of course, i pulled together a crazy cat lady look for a stroll around the cemetery. you know, just a typical weekend afternoon…

ah! that is such a wonderful compliment. it’s also funny you should say this because i always thought that my mom vaguely resembled anjelica huston. just this little hint that i couldn’t quite put my finger on. anyway, i could seriously get used to that comparison, though i can’t hold a candle either of them, haha!

But just one thing, and please don’t shout at me for this… but did that dress shrink a bit in the wash? I don’t remember it being quite that short or that empire waisted…
But you pull it off amazingly at any length!
oh wow, that’s an astute observation. i don’t know that it’s any shorter (probably just the low angle), but i suppose you’re right that it’s a tad more empire waisted. it’s actually a different dress, and has been constructed differently with more of a cut away shoulder and a slightly more snug fit in the waist part. my last one had a terrible accident, so i got a new one with some minor tweaks.
oh, ha ha! its a different dress! makes sense now.
don’t ask me why i noticed, its kind of creepy of me actually.
