my nyfw: tocca spring 2013 presentation

finally getting back into the swing of things, today i’d like to share the photos i snapped at the tocca spring 2013 presentation during nyfw. i’ve long been a fan of emma fletcher, since her days designer for lyell, so i’m glad that her brand has been revived at tocca. this season, she drew inspiration from kaleidoscopes and vintage hot-air balloons with mirrored displays reflecting whimsical illustrations laid out on the floors. there were plenty of bright, punchy colors mixed between black and neutral pieces with delicate lace insets for a fun and feminine touch.

on an aside, please don’t be too hard on the models! they all looked so stunning in real life, but the overhead lighting was really harsh and cast shadows and a green glow on their pretty faces! hopefully it doesn’t distract too much from a very lovely collection.

  1. Are the shoes part of the collection too? I don’t see any shoes on sale in their shop but I love these (as well as the clothes).

  2. That is such a beautiful and well thought out collection. I love everything about it from the way that they styled the models and the colors that they chose to go into the collection.
