the holiday season is officially upon us, and i’m suddenly feeling the urge to wear wintery things in blue and white and silly holiday colors like red and green. the only catch is that we don’t exactly have wintery weather. but despite getting away with wearing sheer blouses and sandals in november, i still feel quite seasonally appropriate and i may or may not have mariah carey’s christmas album already bouncing around in my weary skull.
i’m actually really excited about the season because i get a little break from work and am heading down to southern california this week to visit with my family for thanksgiving. it’s become increasingly hard for me to be so far away from them these days, so i’m taking any excuse to make the trip. so excuse me if i’m a little checked-out lately, i’m just dreaming of turkey dinner and early morning coffee chatting with my grandparents and listening to their stories.

One of my favorite recent looks by you. So glamorous! Love the modern/vintage look with the geometric top.
As always, I love how you put everything together! It’s nice to see a wintery ensemble that’s not just straight-up Christmas :) The little red pops on your bag and lips are so fun!
I’ve also been busting out my many nordic-print sweaters, and I’m glad to see I’m not the only one!

Lovely outfit! I know what I mean about wearing wintery things even though it’s not really wintery outside. I live in Miami, so you can understand why that is. =)
