the new mayflower supply summer 2014 look book is out! and to be honest, i’m super stoked because i’m not even close to being ready for summer to be over. august is the hottest month of the year here, so despite the fact that retailers are pushing pre-fall and back-to-school, i’m right in the middle of my summer and i’d like to enjoy it, thanks! and i’m glad that shop owner liz hull was feeling the same way, because these vintage pieces are feeling pretty much perfect for finishing off these hot summer days. head on over to the shop for more hand-selected vintage goodness!

the new mayflower supply co. spring 2014 lookbook and collection has just launched, and kinda just want to jump right in and live in it. the vintage pieces are all right up my alley these days with lots of natural fibers like denim, linen, and cotton in simple, minimalist designs and monochrome palettes. this season, shop owner liz hull has also introduced her first non-vintage items by winden jewelry and kertis leather goods set against a backdrop of the lush botanical garden at smith college.

announcing mayflower supply co.!

if there’s anything making me wish i could wear regular clothes like right now, it’s the launch of mayflower supply co. and their stunning inaugural look book. the site is set to launch in the coming week at the helm of liz hull and offers up a beautiful collection of vintage apparel sourced from thrift shops, flea markets, and estate sales across new england with a focus on heritage brands like l.l. bean and pendleton. liz says she wanted to “underscore the pride in heritage goods that is so deep rooted in american culture—especially from the clothing manufacturing industry that was so prominent in new england during the industrial age. that’s why i love vintage; it’s a direct connection to the past.” and if these photos are any indication, this shop is going to be good. every piece is one-of-a-kind vintage, so you’ll want to head on over the mayflower supply co. and sign up to be notified when the shop opens so you’ll have first dibs on any of the pieces from the look book!
