a little while back, i styled up a rainy day outfit with a very cool penfield jacket i’d discovered browsing around on the asos website. i had actually been familiar with the massachusetts based company for a number of year, since they’re basically a classic american brand with nice outdoorsy stuff. and i suppose, being the outdoors enthusiast that i am, i’ve always been drawn to these types of classic brands. they just seem like the most fashionable attire for sitting around a campfire in the cool autumn months with a mug of hot spiked cider in hand. and while there are a number of brands that i love for this purpose, i’m particularly drawn to these easy and wearable fall pieces.

My boyfriend works for The North Face, so I tend to have a lot of their pieces (for better or for worse) but I love the classic stuff from Filson, Woolrich, Swiss Army, etc.
