my nyfw: lauren moffatt

onto my outfit from day two here at new york fashion week. this is what i wore yesterday for another fun day. in the morning, i went to the rachel antonoff show to shoot behind-the-scenes video and interview rachel herself, the hair and makeup artists, and even tennessee thomas, who was the dj for the event (more to come later)! then i headed over to the gretchen jones presentation, and finished off the day at the lauren moffatt fno event.

i was very honored to have been on the roster for the event, and i can’t tell you how wonderful it was to meet all of the lovely ladies (and boys) who came out for the occasion. fashion’s night out can be a little crazy in new york, but this event was just right. it was in a small boutique with a cooler of beers and bbq hot dogs! definitely right down my alley. and of course, for the occasion, i had to wear my absolute favorite lauren moffatt dress. i know i’ve worn this dress on the blog before, but it’s really too good to share only once!

dress: lauren moffatt table at taillevent dress from spring 2011
shoes: vintage salvatore ferragamo flats
bag: rebecca minkoff covet satchel
sunglasses: tom ford nikita

  1. So glad that you got to share this dress again! I hope to one day go to NYFW. Even if I am not invited to any event, I just want to walk around and look at everyone. Does that sound creepy? It wasn’t meant to be creepy. Anywho, this dress is adorable and perfect for you and your style! Have fun!

  2. This dress is too cute to only share once … & seeing you in it makes we want to buy a sailor dress & get a bob. And thankyou for all your NYFW instagrams. It has been nice to follow along from my little city here in Australia (feeling a fashioned starved as a result).

  3. These Nikitas were MADE for you. At the risk of sounding creepy, I saw an image of you circulating in black and white (with these sunnies) and I really thought it was a vintage photograph from decades ago. It was so beautiful!
You look wonderful, and I agree with the other commentors – I can’t wait to see more of your FW coverage. I want to see this interview!!

  4. I love the dress, I agree there’s nothing wrong in wearing such a pretty dress twice in the blog. The colour is so great. FW sounds a bit crazy but I’m sure it must be really fun and exciting.
