the new power of my people spring 2017 collection is out! they have a great selection of shirting for both men and women in beautiful summer weight fabrics and easy cuts. i’m excited to see that they brought back my favorite linen friend shirt in the wayward fit because it was one of my favorite shirts in the heat of the summer last year, and i can’t recommend it enough! i’ve already pulled it out of storage and it’s only gotten softer since washing and wearing it.
in addition to that, they also have plenty of other colors to choose from like indigo, olive, red melange, and some summery stripes. all of their clothes are made in canada. when they first started out, the owners would cut and sew every single shirt on their apartment floor, a process that would take 18 hours per shirt! since then, they have found a group of talented technicians to take over their production, but they still oversee the entire process to make sure that they’re providing quality garments for those of us that want to choose ethically and are looking for the best basics for their daily uniforms.
Gorgeous clothes! Do you know where those boots are from?
unfortunately, i am not sure, but i bet you could contact power of my people and they would be able to tell you!
