  1. I’ve been loving your pairings lately…well I always do! Is the field blouse you are wearing the “honey” color and are you wearing the xs/s? The color in your pics looks lighter and beigier than the ones on her site so I’m trying to figure out which is more accurate. I’ve been looking for a good yellow blouse and this one looks great! Also is the cotton on the gauzy side or more of a medium weight? One last question (sorry for so many!)…how is the sizing on the Boyd’s? did you hem them? Thank you!

    1. yes, it’s the field blouse in honey, size xs/s! i usually wear a size 4/6 and 27 in jeans, and am 5’5″ for reference! it’s hard to say with color, i think the lighting is just really dramatically different in our photos. i think the accurate color may be somewhere between the shots on the site and my photos? oh, and it’s a cotton gauze, but it’s not loosely woven like some gauze can be. so while it’s lightweight, it’s still substantial in terms of quality.

and my boyd’s have definitely been altered. i can’t remember the original size because the tag is gone now, but i want to say that i got a size 6 before taking them to the tailor to have the waist brought in and the hems brought up. i have an ilana kohn skirt from this season and it’s a size 4, so i’m gonna say that if you’re the same size as me, get a size 4!
