  1. I have a thing for simple one pieces jazzed up with fancy shoes for summer. Chicago summers are just too hot to work with anything else, and silk is always beautiful. My summer must have is a silk romper and I have one right now but am currently searching for more to add to my collection! http://www.beso.com/silk-rompers/search

  2. I am absolutely into florals this season. Especially big printed florals. I'm more of a pales and neutrals for spring/summer but this dress screams fierce. The teal/purple combo is divine for any skin color but it'll especially make us pale folk tanner than actuality! The pattern and color make it girly but the short skirt is skimming on the line of flirty and fierce. It'd be a must-have!

I'm obsessed with shoes and the fact that I'm suppose to be shopping for more business attire, makes it all that more difficult when I get distracted by gorgeous shoes (and shoes that aren't even mildly acceptable for work).

I think platform wedges are great for spring and can be worn with any outfit (as long as it's outside of work). Dresses, check. Rompers, check. Shorts + tees/tanks, check. Jeans +a top, check. I mean really platform wedges are the way to go!

  4. I'm going for espadrilles! I have been on the hunt for ages for the perfect pair (and living in FL means I can wear them for most of the year) to go with all my floral skirts and pretty dresses! I'd love to finally find a pair that would suit me. ;)

  5. So, it may seem odd as it is summer, but the trend I know I will be majorly rocking this summer is leather: http://www.truereligionbrandjeans.com/store/productdetails.aspx?productid=3534&colorid=24178.
Part of this has to do with living in the pacific northwest where: 1. there are lots of festivals all summer long 2. it is not at all humid and the nights are cool so leather is actually quite comfortable. Also, pants get muddy at festivals and it is annoying to spend all day in denim caked in mud. Leather is great cuz you just wipe it off.

  6. (it wont let me post the url so i just typed up my favourite item that i found from my search!)

    Italian Jacquard Sailor Dress

Although the nautical trend may not be what you think of when it comes to spring but i love the feeling i get when wearing something with a nautical look. I imagine myself on a yaht in the middle of a crystal clear ocean with a martini in one hand! wishful thinking….. haha.

  7. I did my search on patterned tights
    http://www.beso.com/patterned-tights/search
Spring is when everyone wants to start breaking out the cute floral dresses and flouncy skirts, but in michigan its still a bit too chilly to go with bare legs!
Some patterned or textured tights keep an outfit light and springy, but still give just a little extra warmth!

    Thanks for the chance!

  8. I chose wedges, cause in spring you can match them with colored leggings and stockings and they give an edge to the romantic florals that are all over the place :)

i especially liked a pair of DV by Dolce Vita "Tulua" although i'm not sure i could wear them :D

  10. love the chambray results! my search was for strapless striped dresses, since i'm a sucker for anything striped these days and i'm on the lookout for a great sundress to wear to my graduate school commencement next month. a quick beso search turned up a few really great options – i especially love the red and white one from ella moss.

  11. My spring favorite is colorblock. Colorblock in spring reminds me of all the different bold color of buttercup flower that is blooming now. I love colorblock, bright or soft combination because of its bold statement pattern its creates. A bright colorblock dress or tops is very gorgeous to compliment all the spring flower. Colorblock items are also versatile enough to be used during summer time.

  12. I haven't been a fan of pink since I was 11 or 12, but all of a sudden soft, light pink is my favorite color to wear. Other than that, anything very feminine and reminiscient of the Edwardian era is definitely my look for this spring.

  13. http://www.beso.com/wedge-sandals/search

I'm not quite sure if its a trend or just something that's pretty stylish all the time, but I picked wedge sandals! I absolutely love wedges, in all shape or form. They're interesting and can sometimes be more casual than regular heels. They're also quite versatile too.

  14. I am just loving that ruffled tie neck!! Also a fan of the buttons and length. I teach school and being professional is important. However, it doesn't mean you don't have to be fashionable!

  16. It was so hard to choose just one trend that i love but I decided to go with pastels. Living in AZ in the summer means I end up wearing as light of colors as possible so I feel comfortable and still summery. Pastels don't attract as much heat. I love when they are both floaty and somewhat shapely at the same time.

    http://www.beso.com/womens-apparel/pastel/

My favorite spotted was the Refracted Tieback tank at Anthropologie – http://www.anthropologie.com/anthro/catalog/productdetail.jsp?id=18228015. I'm kind of in love!

  17. I did a search for hats. It's sunny season and there is no better way to protect your skin, other than sunblock that is, from the sun than a beautiful straw/organic nude wide brimmed sunhat.

As someone who loves to draw inspirations from period films and as an enthusiast of accessorizing accessories, pieces like versatile sunhats can be a fun 'embellish for the occasion' challenge.

I imagine the Bennet sisters would have trimmed the base of the hat with their favorite bow or combination of bows. I imagine Nicole Kidman in The Hours, adding a small leather thong and feather or adding a small bundle of flowers as part of the ever popular 'grandma chic' trend.

Also, if palm trees are abundant in your area, a knot of palm leaves could be ribboned around the base of the hat for fresh 'tropical' look.

Even without embellishments the hat is great to finish off a really good nautical inspired frock without looking costumy. ;)

i chose hats as my favorite spring item/trend because i've become increasingly obsessed with them. they're cute and practical; they offer protection from the sun but still add edge to your outfit. :) i can't get enough of them.

  19. Oh I am loving the neutral or pastel dresses that the celebrities are wearing. There are so many great ones on this site! There is nothing like wearing a spring dress and heeled sandals. I am in desperate need of some up-to-date dresses so that would be amazing to add to my sad looking closet.

  21. It was so hard to decide, from brogues to clog wedges to stripe boatneck tops to floral dresses to chambray… and then I realized that every time I shop online, or thrift, or even just window shop, it always goes back to the peter pan collar. Peter pan collar anything. I can't get enough. I refined the search with Etsy, Anthropologie, J.Crew, Free People, Forever 21 among others.

As a teenager it's great to have some pieces to be able to throw on and be able to dress up or down for any occassion… I wear them with heels, sandals, sneakers, all kinds of jewelry – I can pick and choose and be out the door! Marvelous.

  23. In the summer of 1998 I was 11 and met the Spice Girls, one of my most memorable moments. On that day Baby Spice told me she loved my rainbow-striped FOAM wedge sandals (ick). But after that summer I swore I would never wear a platform sandal again.
Unfortunately the fashion cycle has bitten me hard, wedge sandals are back and I'm loving them as much as I was in the 90's. I've found one pair that I'm crazy about but I'm on the hunt for a pair that's slightly more comfortable. And so my search… http://www.beso.com/wedge-sandals/search

  24. i have been searching and searching for lengthy periods of time to find a oxford flat, but sadly, being in canberra, australia they are quite hard to come by. so here i am showing you the flats of my dreams to wear this winter, which can i say is coming fast. it would be a dream to wear these with black tights and some waist high deimn shorts with a nice knit jumper and these oxford flats. literally trying so hard not to break my computer screen by jumping into it trying to get them.

thankyou for this chance to fulfill my winter dreams,

  25. This is an awesome giveaway! I am lusting after so many nautical-striped shirts and dresses this spring. There's something fresh and classic about nautical stripes, and they can be re-worked with so many things (I can't wait to pair a nautical dress with a military jacket), which I love!

I love this purple frilly dress for spring. It is light, short, and airy, my three requirements for a perfect spring dress. And it will go perfectly with my lavender pedicure- my new fave color for my toes as we head into springtime!

i'm petite, so i love being able to look older and more lady like with minimal effort that comes with floral dresses. but at the same time, i love being able to make them more edgy with tights, shoes and accessories. Plus, as all my friends can attest too, i'm a junkie for colour, and floral dresses are hte perfect way to incorporate all the colours of the rainbow without looking like a silly mess! And after a cold, dark winter spent on the coast of the North Sea at my university in Scotland, it feel soooo nice to bare my arms and legs for the summer sun!

I chose the floral romper because it combines two trends I'm excited about: floral and rompers. I love floral prints. They are so fun and springy! They are definately a spring essential. I only recently discovered how amazing rompers are. They take the easyness of a dress and combine it with shorts (which eliminates any worrys about your underwear showing).

  33. There's a certain nostalgia about wooden wedge sandals; I can easily see my mother rocking a pair back in the 70's. And they're versatile! Pair them with a breezy sundress or dark-washed skinny jeans – either way it's my spring essential.

My search parameters were 'wood wedge sandal' and I found this pair from Fossil on the second page. They're perfect and oh-so lovely!

I work in an office until 6pm so I am always running late to meet my friends for drinks or a show at the local bar. My spring essential this year is a dress that does double-duty for work and after-work cocktails. I need things that can be clean at the office but either classed up for cocktails with a cardigan or grunged down with some accessories and a leather jacket. I filtered my search by brands that are known for clean lines and fun style like BB Dakota and Marc Jacobs.

  35. http://www.beso.com/floral/search

i chose floral because i just can't get enough! i've been thrifting obsessively for floral prints, i want them on my shoes, on bags, on my wallet, everywhere!
it's so easy to be colorful with floral prints and it's a good way to ease into summer. right now i'm wearing floral with cardigans and tights and boots, and come summer i'll be wearing just the floral with sandals for flats.
